Pediatric Clinic Platform (Medisite)
Backend for a pediatric clinic: JWT auth, appointments, CMS, RBAC, PostgreSQL, Docker and Nginx on a self-hosted Linux server.
The challenge
A pediatric clinic needed a production backend with role-separated access for doctors, editors and patients, appointment rules, content management, and a deployable stack that could run reliably behind Nginx with DNS and HTTPS.
The approach
Developed backend services with Django REST Framework: registration, JWT authentication, appointment scheduling, blog/CMS, and RBAC for Doctor, Editor and Patient. Enforced one active appointment per patient. Migrated to PostgreSQL, containerized with Docker, deployed on a personal Linux server, and configured Nginx reverse proxy with selective upstream rules plus production DNS/HTTPS.
The outcome
Live clinic platform at https://dr-noohi.ir with authenticated workflows, role isolation, and a containerized production deployment.
