The challenge
Deliver commerce backend capabilities (catalog→order) with authz, caching, background work, docs and automated verification in a team setting.
The approach
Implemented APIs for catalog, cart, checkout and order management. Added JWT authentication and role-based permissions, Redis caching, Celery tasks, Django signals, Swagger/OpenAPI, Pytest unit/integration tests, GitHub Actions CI, and Docker + PostgreSQL packaging.
